

The Houston Texans have agreed with defensive back Tremon Smith on a two-year deal worth up to $7.5 million according to Tom Pelissero.
Smith, 28, is a seven-year NFL veteran who has played for the Chiefs, Packers, Texans, Colts and Broncos. In his career, he has five passes defended and two interceptions. Last season with the Broncos, he tallied four tackles.
With the Texans, Smith will provide depth, but will most likely fill a role on special teams.
