The Houston Texans have re-signed cornerback Desmond King on a two-year, $7 million deal according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
King, 27, was a fifth-round pick by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has played for the Chargers, Titans and Texans over his five seasons in the league. In his career, he registered 337 tackles and seven interceptions. With the Texans in 2021, King had 93 total tackles and three interceptions.
Houston will not just have a solid corner returning, but also someone who can return kicks and punts. With King back, the Texans will hope to improve on their four wins in the 2021 season.
