Houston Texans and Eric Murray Agree to 3-Year, $20.25 Million Deal

The Houston Texans and safety Eric Murray have agreed to a three-year, $20.25 million deal according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Murray, 26, has 124 total tackles, eight passes defended and one interception in his four-year career. He spent three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and then played last season for the Cleveland Browns. The safety has started 15 games over the last three years.

The Texans had one of the worst secondaries in the league last season and will hope Murray can help them improve in 2020.
