Roby, 28, signed a one-year contract with the Texans last offseason and used his one year to leverage a long term contract with the team. He had eight passes defended and two interceptions for Houston last season.
In his six-year career, he spent five years with the Broncos before joining the Texans. He has 68 passes defended and eight interceptions in his time as a pro.
Houston had issues in their secondary last season, but Roby played well. Now, the team will have to try to find help around him.
