Halapoulivaati Vaitai and Detroit Lions Agree to a 5-Year, $50 Million Deal

The Detroit Lions and Halapoulivaati Vaitai have agreed to a five-year, $50 million deal according to Mike Garafolo.

Vaitai, 26, played the first four seasons of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. He started 20 games over the four seasons and will likely start for the Lions next season.

The Lions cut Ricky Wagner last week, which necessitated the move for Vaitai.
