Free agent running back Gus Edwards has agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Edwards, 28, spent the first five seasons of his career with the Baltimore Ravens. He has 3,395 rushing yards, 374 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns. In 2023, he had 810 rushing yards, 180 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.
In Los Angeles, Edwards will join the brother of his first head coach John Harbaugh, Jim and his former offensive coordinator Gregg Roman. The Chargers are likely losing Austin Ekler in free agency and Edwards gives them a productive running back.
