
The Green Bay Packers have traded away top safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to the Washington Redskins for a 2014 fourth-round pick, according to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter.
Clinton-Dix has played his whole career with the Packers. He was the 21st pick in the 2014 draft. In his time with Green Bay, he has recorded 5.5 sacks and 14 interceptions. The safety has three interceptions on the season.

The pro-bowl safety had reportedly wanted to sign with another team after 2018. Clinton-Dix is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2018 season.
The Washington Redskins sit first in the NFC East with a record of 5-2. The trade can put the Redskins even higher in defensive ranks. According to Pro Football Focus, the Redskins now have the two top healthy safeties in their secondary.
