The New York Giants have found their next defensive coordinator. Ex-Ravens defensive coordinator Wink Martindale will fill the vacant role for the New York Giants. Former Giants DC Patrick Graham left that position to take the same role with the Raiders.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.

Martindale had spent four seasons with the Ravens, building a high-powered and blitz-heavy defense. He had linebackers coach positions with multiple teams before taking his first defensive coordinator position with the Broncos in 2010.
The Giants finished 4-13 in the 2021-2022 season, missing the playoffs. Along with Graham, New York also lost head coach Joe Judge (fired) and general manager Dave Gettleman (retired). They have hired former-Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll as their new head coach, and now he has a new defensive coordinator to usher in a new era.
