The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to a one-year deal worth $3.25 million with free agent tight end Austin Hooper, according to Ian Rapoport.
Hooper, 31, is a 10-year veteran who started his career with Atlanta. He has also played for the Browns, Titans, Raiders and Patriots. In his career, he has 430 catches for 4,441 yards and 30 touchdowns.
Last season for the Patriots, Hooper hauled in 21 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns. Back in Atlanta, Hooper will provide some depth behind Kyle Pitts, who they just franchise-tagged this offseason.
