The Atlanta Falcons have reached a three-year, $39 million deal with free agent wide receiver Darnell Mooney according to Ian Rapoport. For the contract, $26 million will be guaranteed.
Mooney, 26, played the first four seasons of his career with the Chicago Bears. In his career, he has 213 receptions for 2,539 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. Last season for the Bears, he caught 31 passes for 414 yards and one touchdown.
In Atlanta, Mooney will join new quarterback Kirk Cousins as the offense will be improved. He joins young star skill position players Bijan Robinson, Drake London and Kyle Pitts.
