The Indianapolis Colts have lost another running back to injury, this time a promising rookie. Originally placed on IR with a knee injury, MRIs revealed that Evan Hull has a torn meniscus, which will keep him out for the rest of the season.
NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reported the news via Twitter on Thursday.
Hull was drafted by the Colts out of Northwestern in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft (176th overall). He became a starter at Northwestern in 2021, grabbing over 1,000 yards on the ground during his first season in the role.
He eventually finished his college career with 2,417 total rushing yards and entered the NFL Draft. Even though Jonathan Taylor continues his PUP stint and holdout, Hull only made it onto the field for one rush for one yard in 2023.
