The Miami Dolphins have agreed to a one-year, $4 million deal with free-agent cornerback Ifeatu Melifonwu according to Adam Schefter.
Melifonwu, 25, spent the first four seasons of his career with the Detroit Lions. He has 72 career tackles and had 10 total tackles in three games played last season.
In Melifonwu, the Dolphins will get cornerback depth and a player who can contribute on special teams.
