The New York Giants lost starting running back Saquon Barkley for the season with a torn ACL and have now found a replacement. They are signing Devonta Freeman, according to Mike Garafolo.

Freeman, 28, wasn’t resigned by the Atlanta Falcons and has been a free agent all offseason. He has 3,972 rushing yards in his six-game career. His versatility has shown through his career too, as he has 2,015 receiving yards.
The Giants will likely be giving him playing time along with Dion Lewis and Wayne Gallman, who are both currently on the roster.
