The Detroit Lions have agreed to a one-year deal with safety Jayron Kearse according to Tom Pelissero.

Kearse is getting $2.75 million. The 26-year-old spent the first four seasons of his career with the Vikings. He totaled 28 tackles, six passes defended and one interception last season. In his career, he has 79 total tackles, eight passes defended and one interception.
The Lions have already added a lot to their defense this offseason with moves to bring in Desmond Trufant and Duron Harmon. Kearse will likely be a reserve for Detroit.
