
According to Adam Scheffer, the Detroit Lions chose to release Jesse James late Thursday night.

James played on the Lions for two years. He totaled 142 receiving yards in 2019 and 129 in 2020. He also had two touchdowns during his 2020 campaign with the Lions.
James has been in the NFL since 2015 spending most of his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
