The Tennessee Titans are sending a sixth-round draft pick to the Los Angeles Chargers to acquire Desmond King according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
King, 25, was reportedly not happy with how the Chargers were using him this season, which caused the trade. He has played three and a half seasons with the team after being drafted by the franchise in 2017. This season, he has 24 total tackles and two sacks.
The Titans have not fared well against the pass this season. They rank 27th in passing yards allowed and have had to deal with the fact that Adoree Jackson was injured before the season started. King can fill in at corner, nickel or safety for the Titans to help improve their pass defense.
