Derwin James to Miss Significant Amount of Time With Foot Injury

Derwin James injured his foot at practice yesterday for the Los Angeles Chargers and will miss a significant amount of time according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Per Rapoport, James has a stress fracture in his fifth metatarsal on his right foot. There is currently no timetable for his return, as the Chargers evaluate his injury further.

James, 23, had an impressive rookie season for the Chargers with 105 total tackles, three interceptions and 13 passes defended. He made the Pro Bowl and was named an All-Pro for his play.
