PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
Jackson, who played his college football at Duke, went undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft, but was signed to the Colts on May 6 of that same year. He cracked the active roster and has played in a decent amount of the Colts’ games since arriving.
He played in two games with Indy this season, starting one of them. Jackson has rushed 13 times for 14 yards so far this year, but no scores. In his two-plus in the league he has three touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving.
