The Denver Broncos are trading a seventh-round pick to the Tennessee Titans for Jurrell Casey according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Casey is a 30-year-old defensive tackle who has played nine NFL seasons with the Titans. He is a five-time Pro Bowler who has 84 tackles for loss and 51 sacks in his career. In 2019, Casey registered five tackles for loss and five sacks for the Titans.
The Broncos will be taking on a lot of salary with the deal for Casey, as he is slated to make almost $13.4 million in base salary for 2020 according to Over the Cap. With the signing of Casey, the Broncos can address other areas of team need in the draft and free agency.
