Tight end Dawson Knox will remain with the Bills after signing a four-year extension. Knox’s new contract extension is reportedly worth $53.6 million total over the next four years, with $31 million in guaranteed money.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Wednesday.
Knox was drafted out of Ole Miss in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire career, meaning Josh Allen has been his only NFL quarterback. His career stats include 101 receptions for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Last season was the best of his NFL career so far. Knox played in 15 games (14 starts), gathering 587 yards and nine touchdowns, which was triple his previous NFL-best touchdown mark. He has only fumbled twice since 2019. This new contract puts him squarely in the top-five highest paid tight ends in the league.
