

The Dallas Cowboys have completed a trade with the New York Jets for defensive lineman Quinnen Williams, according to Ian Rapoport. Dallas will send a future first-round pick, a second-rounder and defensive lineman Mazi Smith to the Jets in the deal.
Williams, 27, is a three-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro. He has 322 total tackles, 59 tackles for loss and 40 sacks in his career. This season, he has 32 total tackles, seven tackles for loss and one sack.
The Cowboys were already active before the trade deadline, acquiring Logan Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals. They sit at 3-5-1 with some work to do to work themselves into a playoff spot.
New York has also been active before the trade deadline. They traded Williams to the Cowboys, but also traded Sauce Gardner to the Colts. In the process, they have netted three first-round picks, a second-round pick, Mazi Smith and AD Mitchell as they look to build for their future.
