Sutton, 24, also had a hurt shoulder heading into week 2. He was injured tackling Joe Haden on an interception return in the first half.
He was in his third year out of SMU and Sutton had developed into a true number one receiver for Drew Lock. Sutton made the Pro Bowl in 2019 after hauling in 74 passes for 1,112 yards and six touchdowns.
The Broncos have a lot of injuries to get through, as Drew Lock, Phillip Lindsay, A.J. Bouye, Von Miller and more are going to miss time. Rookies Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler will be expected to step up and help fill the void left by Sutton.
