Backup quarterback Cooper Rush has agreed to sign his free-agent tender worth $2.1 million according to multiple sources.

Rush is a 26-year-old, Central Michigan product who has been with the Cowboys since 2017. He has played in five regular-season games in his career with one completion for two yards.

Dallas is continuing to negotiate with their starter, Dak Prescott, but will have their backup back next season.
