Alternate helmets are still rolling out a full year after the NFL announced each team could have one alternate look to be worn no more than three times per year. The Browns are the latest to unveil their new helmet, an all white look with brown and orange stripes.
The NFL’s official Twitter released pictures of tight end David Njoku wearing the new helmet on Tuesday.
Cleveland will be sporting these new helmets with white jerseys and white pants on the maximum three occasions next year. Week 2 on Monday Night Football, Week 6 (a Sunday) against the 49ers and Week 17 on Sunday Night Football against Aaron Rodgers and the Jets.
There are still teams that have yet to release an alternate helmet, and it is very likely that if they choose not to reveal it before the start of the season, they won’t be allowed to wear them during the 2023-2024 campaign. Teams without alternates include; the Packers, the Seahawks and the Rams.
