The Cleveland Browns have placed their tight end David Njoku on the Injured Reserve after he broke his wrist in their game on Monday Night against the Jets. He will not need surgery and is eligible to return later in the season. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to report the move.

Njoku, 23, is in his third year in the NFL. He has 92 receptions for 1,062 yards and nine touchdowns in his career. This season he totaled four catches for 37 yards and one touchdown before getting injured.
The Browns have listed Pharaoh as their backup tight end.
