The Cleveland Browns have cut safety Morgan Burnett according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Burnett spent one season with the Browns and has also spent time with the Steelers and Packers in his career. The 31-year-old safety won a Super Bowl with the Packers. Last season for the Browns, he had 41 total tackles, two passes defended and one interception in eight games played, but was placed on injured reserve and missed the end of the season.
He will now be an unrestricted free agent.
The Browns also placed a second-round tender on running back Kareem Hunt.
