The Cleveland Browns have cut quarterback Josh Rosen according to PFF’s Ari Meirov.
Rosen, 25, is a former first-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals. He has played for the Cardinals, Buccaneers and Falcons in his career and has 2,864 career passing yards.
Cleveland will be without starting quarterback Deshaun Watson for 11 games due to suspension. Jacoby Brissett is the starter until Watson returns and Josh Dobbs will back him up. Cleveland will likely get another quarterback to be on the practice squad in the meantime.
