Cincinnati Bengals Release Germaine Pratt

The Cincinnati Bengals have released linebacker Germaine Pratt according to Tom Pelissero.

Pratt, 29, had a career-high 143 total tackles last season for the Bengals. He has spent all six of his NFL seasons with the Bengals. Over his career, he has 616 total tackles, 23 passes defended and seven interceptions.

Earlier this offseason, Pratt requested a trade. Since that point, the Bengals have signed Oren Burks and drafted Barrett Carter and Demetrius Knight at the linebacker position to try and fill his spot.
