The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to re-sign tight end Drew Sample according to Charlie Goldsmith of the Cincinnati Enquirer. It will be a three-year extension.
Sample, 27, has spent the first five seasons of his career with the Bengals. He has 80 catches for 621 yards and three touchdowns in his career. Last season, he totaled 22 receptions for 163 yards and two touchdowns.
There were no tight ends on the roster for the Bengals before the Sample signing, so he will at least provide the team with depth.
