The Cincinnati Bengals have placed John Ross on the injured reserve following a shoulder injury he suffered against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Stanley Morgan was signed off of the Bengals practice squad. The team announced the moves on Wednesday.
Ross was leading the Bengals in receiving yards this season with 328. He had 16 catches and three touchdowns as well. He will be eligible to return later in the season.
The Bengals signed Morgan as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska this offseason. In his college career, Morgan totaled 189 receptions for 2,747 yards and seven touchdowns.
