Cincinnati Bengals Cut Dre Kirkpatrick

The Cincinnati Bengals have cut cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick according to Ben Baby.

Kirkpatrick, 30, was a first-round pick in 2012 by the Bengals. He has 10 interceptions and 65 passes defended in his career. Last season he totaled four passes defended in six games. He was placed on IR with a knee injury after playing in the six games.

The Bengals signed cornerbacks Trae Waynes and Mackensie Alexander in free agency. With the release of Kirkpatrick, the Bengals save over $7.5 million in cap space.
