Karras, 28, was a sixth-round pick by the New England Patriots in 2016. He has played five years in New England with a brief stop in Miami for the 2020 season. With the Patriots, he was a part of two Super Bowl-winning teams. He has played guard and center throughout his NFL career.
The Bengals have made a concerted effort to improve the offensive line in free agency. They added Alex Cappa and now Karras in an effort to protect Joe Burrow, who was the most sacked quarterback in the league during the 2021 season.
