The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a four-year, $53 million deal with defensive tackle D.J. Reader according to Aaron Wilson.
Reader, 25, was drafted by the Texans out of Clemson in 2016 and has started 52 games for the franchise. He has 16 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks in his career. Last season, Reader registered six tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.
The Bengals haven’t been active in free agency, as they have only placed the franchise tag on A.J. Green in the last two days. They won two games last season and will be looking to rebuild the roster in the coming years.
