The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a deal with cornerback Trae Waynes according to NFL Network.
No word has passed through on what the terms of the deal are for Waynes yet.
Waynes, 27, is a former Michigan State Spartan, who has spent the first five years of his career with the Vikings. He had eight passes defended and one interception for the Vikings last season. For his career, Waynes has 42 passes defended and seven interceptions.
The Bengals took a while to get active in free agency, but added both Waynes and defensive tackle D.J. Reader on Tuesday. Cincinnati will look to continue to build their defense up after finishing near the bottom of the league in most categories last season.
