
The Chicago Bears are releasing linebacker Danny Trevathan according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Trevathan, 31, is a former sixth-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. He has played for the Broncos and the Bears in his career. Over his 10 seasons in the league, he has 741 tackles. In 2021 for the Bears, he played for five games after having a knee injury and had 19 total tackles.
The Bears will have Roquan Smith at one of their inside linebacker spots, but will need someone new to step up beside him.
