The Chicago Bears have agreed to a three-year, $19.5 million deal with free agent linebacker T.J. Edwards according to Ian Rapoport.
Edwards is a four-year veteran who has spent his entire career with the Eagles. He has tallied 389 total tackles, 13 passes defended and five sacks in his career.
He helped Philadelphia make the Super Bowl last season with 159 total tackles, seven passes defended and two sacks.
The Bears have been aggressive this offseason, as they traded the top pick away in the 2023 NFL Draft to acquire D.J. Moore and more draft capital. They have the most cap space in the league and have opened things up with the signing of Edwards.
