
Two-time First Team All-Pro Chandler Jones is joining his third team. Jones has reportedly signed a deal with the Raiders. The monetary and length details have not yet been made public at time of writing. But the Raiders receive one of the best pass rushers in the entire NFL with this move.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Wednesday.
Jones was a former first round selection by New England in the 2012 NFL Draft. He played in New England for four seasons before being traded to the Cardinals in exchange for Jonathan Cooper and a second round draft pick.
Among his accomplishments are one Super Bowl championship with the Patriots, co-leading the NFL in forced fumbles (8) in 2019, leading the NFL in sacks (17) in 2017, two First Team All-Pro selections and four Pro Bowl selections. He as also received second and third place finishes in the AP Defensive Player of the Year voting.
