The Washington Redskins will go back to Case Keenum during Week 6.
Since starting 0-5, head coach Jay Gruden was fired and offensive line coach Bill Callahan was appointed in the interim. According to Ian Rapoport, Callahan will go with veteran Case Keenum over rookie Dwayne Haskins and career backup Colt McCoy.
Sources: The #Redskins are expecting to start QB Case Keenum this week, assuming his foot injury allows him. So Colt McCoy back to the bench.

Keenum injured his foot in Washington’s Week 4 matchup against the New York Giants. Rookie Dwayne Haskins came on in relief, and threw three interceptions. The Redskins then went with backup Colt McCoy in Week 5, throwing no touchdowns and one pick against the Patriots.
All in all, Washington QBs have thrown eight interceptions to seven touchdowns. All seven TDs have been thrown by Keenum, while throwing four of the interceptions.
Thus, it makes sense that Callahan wants to hit the reset button on their winless season. They should not throw Haskins to the wolves on this bad team before he is ready. And Colt McCoy should serve as a backup only, which is where he has been most comfortable in his career.
The coaching change and the quarterback assurance could not come at a better time. If they truly want to forget their 0-5 start and turn the page, there is no better opponent to take that leap against than the Miami Dolphins.
Case Keenum, Bill Callahan and the rest of the Redskins will start this reset in Miami on Sunday, October 13.
