
The Carolina Panthers will sign linebacker Denzel Perryman according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Perryman, 28, had played his entire six-year career with the Chargers. In 69 career games, Perryman has logged 51 starts. He has 349 career tackles, five sacks and three interceptions.
With the Panthers losing stalwarts Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis over the last few seasons, they needed to pair a linebacker with the Shaq Thompson.
