The Arizona Cardinals have lost a pass-catcher for the remainder of the season. Tight end Zach Ertz apparently suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 10’s win against the Los Angeles Rams. He was seen in a knee brace after the game.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
Ertz became a Cardinal last season after spending his entire NFL tenure in Philadelphia. He was traded for a cornerback and a fifth round selection. He caught three touchdowns in 11 games for Arizona after being traded.
So far in 2022, Ertz has played and started in all 10 games. He has collected 47 receptions for 406 yards and four touchdowns. His season now comes to an end as the Cardinals sit at 4-6, good for only third in the NFC West.
