The Arizona Cardinals have reached a 3-year, $21 million deal with free-agent defensive lineman Bilal Nichols according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Nichols, 27, has spent his six seasons in the NFL with the Bears and Raiders. He has 238 total tackles in his career and 14 sacks in his career. Last season for the Raiders, Nichols tallied 48 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
The signing of Nichols will help the Cardinals replace some of their defensive front that has been lost over the last few seasons, which includes J.J. Watt.
