The Cincinnati Bengals newest standout cornerback avoided a serious injury during Thursday Night Football. Cam Taylor-Britt left Thursday’s game with an apparent injury, not to return. He is now being deemed day-to-day with a quad injury.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Friday.
Taylor-Britt was a second round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft (60th overall) out of the University of Nebraska. During his time there, he was Second Team All-Big 10 twice. He gathered six interceptions during his four years in school.
So far in 20 games played in the NFL, britt has 101 combined tackles, two forced fumbles (one each year) and four interceptions, which have all come in just 10 games this season. He has also managed to score his first defensive touchdown on one of those interceptions in 2023.
