The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to be without one of their best offensive players for the next few weeks. Offensive tackle Cam Robinson suffered a knee injury on Sunday, that is slated to keep him out of the lineup for three to six weeks.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
The three to six week timeline for his return makes Robinson a prime candidate for the injured reserve list, which will necessitate he be out for at least four weeks. However, the injury is not thought to be season-ending at present.
Since being drafted, Robinson has only played every game in one season; 2020. This year he’s played in only seven games, racking up a playing time of 85 percent of the Jaguars’ offensive snaps. He’s had just two penalties on the year, both false starts.
