The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will wear their creamsicle throwback jerseys for week 6 against the Detroit Lions according to Ari Meirov.
The Buccaneers wore these uniforms from the start of their franchise in 1979 through 1996. Tampa Bay will also wear the white helmets that accompanied the orange uniforms.
In 1997, the Buccaneers switched their colors for good, although they have worn the creamsicle throwbacks from time to time, as recently as 2012.
