The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed star receiver Chris Godwin on a three-year, $33 million deal according to Ian Rapoport. In the contract, $44 million will be guaranteed.
Godwin, 29, has spent his whole eight-year career with the Bucs. In that time, he has registered 579 receptions for 7,266 yards and 39 touchdowns.
Last season, Godwin caught 50 passes for 576 yards and five touchdowns in seven games played. His season was cut short due to a dislocated ankle.
With Godwin staying in Tampa Bay, he will rejoin quarterback Baker Mayfield and wide receiver Mike Evans. The team won 10 games and made the playoffs last season.
