The Browns have officially ruled out two difference-making players for Week 7’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Offensive guard Wyatt Teller is out with a calf injury, and Denzel Ward will miss the game due to the concussion protocol.
PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Friday.
Teller is a two-time Second Team All-Pro selection and a 2021 Pro Bowler on the Browns’ offensive line. 2022 is his fifth season in the league out of Virginia Tech and his fourth as a member of the Cleveland Browns. He is on a four-year, $56.8 million contract.
Ward was a top-five pick by the Browns in the 2018 NFL Draft. He has been chosen to two Pro Bowls and made the All-Rookie team during his first year. In his 55 game career, Ward has 10 interceptions and two defensive touchdowns.
