The Broncos are considering making one of their best defensive players a trade piece ahead of the post-Week 8 trade deadline. Bradley Chubb has officially entered trade block status, and could be moved if the Broncos lose their next game.
NFL reporter Dov Kleiman reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
Chubb was a top-five pick in the 2018 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State University. He comes from an NFL lineage, as his father and brother both played in the league, and is the cousin of Nick Chubb, the Browns’ running back.
In his three-plus year career, Chubb has 168 tackles, 26 sacks, six forced fumbles, five pass deflections and one interception. All these stats were compiled even though he missed 12 games in 2019 due to an ACL tear.
