The Green Bay Packers turn out to be sellers at the 2023 NFL trade deadline, as they trade away one of their best cornerbacks. Buffalo has sent a third round pick to the Packers in return for Rasul Douglas and a fifth round pick.
PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Halloween.
Just over 20 days after Douglas was signed off of the Arizona Cardinals practice squad back in 2021, he managed to seal a Packers victory by picking off Kyler Murray in the end zone, handing his former team their first loss of that season.
In 17 games last season, Douglas grabbed 85 combined tackles (69 solo), a sack and four interceptions. All of those numbers, save the four picks, were career highs for him. He managed to pick off five balls during the 2021 campaign.
