Bills Lock Up Jordan Poyer Through 2022

Jordan Poyer

The Buffalo Bills have re-signed safety Jordan Poyer. Poyer is a leader on their elite defense, and he will be under contract until at least 2022.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported the signing via Twitter on Tuesday.

Poyer has been a member of of the Bills since 2017. He has played and started in every game but one since he got to Buffalo. Before that, he spent time in Philadelphia and Cleveland.

In 2019, Poyer collected two interceptions, three defended passes and 107 combined tackles. He also forced and recovered three fumbles. Despite being a reliable option to pick off passes since becoming a Bill, he has never been a Pro Bowl selection.
