The Arizona Cardinals have released safety D.J. Swearinger according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Swearinger, 28, was in his second stint with the Cardinals after also playing for the Redskins and Texans. In his career, he totaled 386 total tackles, 40 passes defended and 14 interceptions.
This season, Swearinger had 25 tackles and one pass defended in four games with the team.
